In a coordinated, intelligence-driven operation, the Cybercrime Unit of the Ghana Police Service, working alongside the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), has arrested ten foreign nationals in Weija, Greater Accra Region, for their alleged involvement in cybercrime.
The suspects are reported to be nationals of China and Malaysia. Acting on credible intelligence, the joint task force conducted a raid that led to the confiscation of a substantial cache of electronic equipment, believed to be linked to illegal online activities.
Authorities seized over 800 mobile phones, multiple computers, and numerous charging devices during the operation. These items are currently undergoing forensic analysis as part of ongoing investigations.
At this time, the Ghana Police Service and the GRA have not released additional details, but investigations remain active.
