Ghanaian politician Kennedy Agyapong has expressed strong disapproval of former President John Mahama's decision to pardon Sammy Gyamfi in the aftermath of the Agradaa-Sammy Gyamfi controversy.
Speaking at Central University, as reported by GH Page, Agyapong stated that had he been President, he would have taken a much firmer stance. Rather than issuing a pardon, he asserted that he would have dismissed Sammy Gyamfi immediately, using the situation as a precedent to deter others from similar behavior.
Agyapong's comments underscore his belief in accountability and stricter disciplinary action within political and public service circles.
