A Nigerian woman went viral after she intentionally damaged the toilet she had just repaired in her rented apartment—out of frustration over a sudden eviction notice from her landlord.
In a video posted to her TikTok page, the woman revealed that she had spent her own money to fix the toilet in the apartment. However, shortly after completing the repairs, she was issued a quit notice, prompting her to retaliate by breaking the same toilet and its tap.
“How can I use my money to fix the toilet, and then the landlord tells me to leave?” she said in the clip. “I just broke it, broke the tap as well. Now water is rushing out.”
The footage shows water gushing from the damaged fixtures as viewers expressed mixed reactions online.
