Brave Woman Rescues Stranger Hit by Trailer, Pleads for Public Help to Find His Family

A compassionate Nigerian woman has shared her harrowing experience after witnessing a road accident where a man was struck by a trailer. Despite not knowing the victim, she acted swiftly, rushing him to the hospital and later turning to social media for help in locating his family.

The incident was shared on X (formerly Twitter), where the lady posted videos and updates. In one clip, she is seen at the hospital, buying medication, visibly shaken and desperate for assistance.

“Guys, I’m scared. They said they can’t treat him here and we have to go to Igbobi. I don’t know him at all. Please, if you know Mr. Dammilaree Kolawole, come to Randle General Hospital, Surulere. I’m just trying to help,” she wrote.

Despite being a complete stranger to the victim, she stayed with him and bore the cost of his treatment. In a later update, she informed followers that the man’s wife and brother eventually arrived at the hospital, taking over his care.

“After leaving the hospital with my sister, I heard that his wife and brother came. I’m relieved now. I even overpaid for drugs due to panic. People said I took a big risk helping, and it really scared me. I’ll share more tomorrow.”

Her selfless act has garnered praise online, with many calling her a hero for choosing compassion over fear.
