Renowned Ghanaian dancehall artist Stonebwoy has disclosed that he has been blocked by former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan.
In a recent interview, Stonebwoy expressed his admiration and respect for both Gyan and retired Togolese footballer Emmanuel Adebayor, whom he referred to as “big brothers” due to their close relationship and shared experiences over the years.
“I have big brothers I respect a lot,” Stonebwoy said. “Emmanuel Adebayor is one of those I look up to—and of course, Asamoah Gyan. He has been like a big brother for a long time. But lately, I hardly hear from him.”
The musician explained that while he remains in contact with Adebayor, his communication with Gyan has drastically declined. Concerned about the sudden distance, he decided to investigate—only to discover that Gyan had blocked him.
“But the last time I checked, I was blocked,” Stonebwoy revealed, visibly surprised and disappointed.
He did not share any specific reason or incident that may have led to the fallout, leaving fans speculating about what could have gone wrong between the two prominent figures.
The revelation has since sparked widespread discussion online, with many expressing shock over the unexpected disconnect between the celebrated artist and the former football star.
