Ghanaian international Antoine Semenyo has been shortlisted for the Premier League Goal of the Month award for October.
The AFC Bournemouth forward earned the nomination for his brilliant solo strike during his side’s 3–1 comeback victory over Fulham. In that match, Semenyo showcased his exceptional skill and composure, weaving past two defenders before calmly slotting the ball past goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
His moment of individual brilliance has placed him among the top contenders for this month’s accolade.
Semenyo faces strong competition from several Premier League stars, including Mohamed Salah (Liverpool), Moisés Caicedo (Chelsea), Justin Kluivert (Bournemouth), and Emiliano Buendía (Aston Villa).
The 25-year-old winger has been in impressive form this season. He was also recognized in September for his memorable goal against Liverpool on the opening weekend of the campaign.
So far in the 2025/26 season, Semenyo has registered six goals and three assists in just nine Premier League appearances. He will look to continue his fine run of form when Bournemouth face Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
