The Worcester Executive Fitness Club (WEFC) successfully held its inaugural meeting on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at the Africa Cultural Center, 860 Main Street, Worcester, Massachusetts. The gathering brought together professionals and community leaders with a shared passion for fitness, wellness, and personal growth.
Chaired by the Acting President, Jeffrey Barimah Antwi (popularly known as Oga One), the event marked the beginning of WEFC’s mission to promote healthy living, unity, and social responsibility within the Worcester community.
In his address, Oga One expressed gratitude to all attendees and outlined the club’s vision — to build a strong network of individuals committed to fitness, accountability, mutual support, and professional development. He emphasized that WEFC aims to create an environment where members can grow physically, mentally, and socially while making a meaningful impact in their community.
During the meeting, members discussed the club’s governance, structure, and strategic direction. Plans were made for the club’s official launch in 2026 following its registration and completion of strategic planning. The members also adopted the slogan “WEFC: We lift, we grow, and we live”, and agreed upon the greeting “Executive!”, to which the response is “Power!” — a call-and-response that symbolizes strength, unity, and shared purpose.
