New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to begin a three-day campaign tour of the Western North Region on Tuesday, October 28, 2025.
The tour forms part of his nationwide engagement series themed “Our Journey Together,” which seeks to connect with party delegates ahead of the January 31, 2026, presidential primaries.
According to a statement issued by the Western North Regional Communications Director, Addo Yaw Harry, Dr. Bawumia will visit all nine constituencies within the region, including Sefwi Akontombra, Aowin, Juaboso, Bia West, Bia East, Bodi, and Bibiani–Anhwiaso–Bekwai.
During the tour, the Vice President will interact with regional and constituency executives, outline his vision for party renewal, and emphasize unity as a foundation for the NPP’s future success.
Dr. Bawumia officially launched his nationwide campaign on October 15, beginning with visits to the Bono East, Bono, and Ahafo Regions. He has urged delegates across the country to rally behind him to secure victory for the NPP and reclaim power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the 2028 general elections.
“Our goal is one—to build a united and stronger NPP that can deliver progress and opportunity for all Ghanaians,” Dr. Bawumia said during an earlier campaign stop.
