Brother of Shot Adventist Student Clarifies MP’s Role in Medical Expenses

 

The brother of Pinamang, the Adventist student who was tragically shot by a colleague at school, has shed light on the involvement of Hon. Asenso Boakye, Member of Parliament for Bantama, following the incident.

In an exclusive interview, he addressed a widespread misconception that the MP has fully covered all of Pinamang’s medical expenses. According to him, Hon. Asenso Boakye visited the hospital shortly after the incident and paid the hospital bills incurred on that day.

However, the MP also made it clear that he would not be able to cover the full cost of Pinamang’s treatment. He expressed his willingness to assist further by contributing towards travel arrangements, but emphasized that he could not bear the entire financial burden.

This clarification comes in response to public assumptions about the extent of the MP’s support in the wake of the tragic event.
