Nigerian Afrobeats artist Magixx, signed to Mavin Records, has urged young people to let go of the fear of embarrassment if they want to achieve their goals.
Speaking on Hip TV’s entertainment show Trending, Magixx emphasized the importance of self-confidence and resilience, pointing out that fear often holds back talented individuals.
“People always say there's someone better out there,” he said. “But those who succeed do so because they’ve earned it. They belong where they are. God doesn’t make mistakes.”
He pushed back against the widespread belief that talent is everywhere, arguing that genuine talent is often hidden—not because it doesn’t exist, but because it’s poorly managed or stifled by fear.
“If talent were truly everywhere, the world would’ve discovered it by now,” Magixx stated. “Too many people let the fear of embarrassment stop them from chasing their dreams. And if you’re afraid to be embarrassed, you’ll never make it.”
His message serves as a strong reminder that success isn’t just about talent—it also requires courage, discipline, and belief in oneself.
