In the caption accompanying the video, the young lady described her grandmother as her “superhero” and the unwavering “pillar” in her life. She revealed that her grandmother raised her from childhood in the absence of her biological parents, supporting her through every stage of her academic journey — from primary to tertiary education.
“Right from primary and secondary school to higher institution, and till this moment, this woman has been shouldering my responsibilities. The reason why I’m more grateful to God is that she is still right here, seeing a seed she planted, watered, and cared for grow,” she wrote.
Reflecting on her NYSC experience, she shared that there were moments during the program when she felt like quitting. However, the thought of seeing the joy on her grandmother’s face upon her return kept her going.
