The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially announced the release of the 2025 Senior High School (SHS) placement results under the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS).

In a circular dated September 17, 2025, and signed by Dr. Munawaru Isshaque, Acting Deputy Director-General of GES (Q&A), the Service informed all stakeholders that the placement results are now available online. Students can check their placement status by visiting: https://www.cssps.gov.gh/hub/login.

According to the directive, all placed students are expected to report to their respective schools on October 18, 2025.

Key Guidelines from GES:

  • Strict Adherence to Placement List:
Heads of schools must strictly follow the placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat. No student may be admitted outside this official list without prior written approval from GES.

  • Registration Process:
School heads are required to ensure that registration is conducted smoothly and in full compliance with the official guidelines.

  • Administrative Sanctions:
GES has warned that any violations, such as unauthorized admissions, will attract appropriate administrative sanctions.

  • Monitoring and Supervision:
Regional and District Directors of Education have been tasked with overseeing the admission process to ensure transparency and compliance at all levels.

The circular emphasized the importance of collaboration among Regional and District Education Directors, urging them to promptly communicate the information to heads of schools within their jurisdiction. GES called for urgent and effective handling of the process to ensure a smooth start to the 2025 academic year.

“The GES counts on your cooperation to ensure a transparent and successful admission process for the 2025 academic year. Kindly treat this information with the urgency and importance it deserves,” the statement concluded.
