According to him, the couple was informed in September 2021 that conceiving a child might be difficult for them. Despite this, he proposed to Miss Trudy in December 2021, fully aware of the obstacles they could encounter on their path to parenthood.
The couple tied the knot in September 2022, a date that carried emotional weight for Miss Trudy, as it coincided with the anniversary of her mother’s passing 13 years earlier. After their marriage, they experienced a series of miscarriages, which Wode Maya described as heartbreaking.
“After six heartbreaking miscarriages over the years, in 2025 we became pregnant again,” he shared.
