Emmanuella, the mother of popular Nigerian streamer and skit maker Carter Efe’s child, has broken her silence following claims by the comedian that he has been single for more than a year.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, Emmanuella said she never anticipated having to speak publicly about her private life. However, she explained that she felt compelled to respond after several statements about her circulated online.
According to her, Carter Efe recently claimed that they had been separated for over a year, a claim she strongly refuted. While acknowledging that they are not officially in a relationship, Emmanuella stated that they were still intimate not long ago, alleging that they had sexual relations just three days before his public declaration.
Emmanuella further alleged that during her studies in medical anatomy, she was discouraged from working in a hospital. She claimed Carter Efe accused her of intending to have inappropriate relationships with doctors, which influenced her career decisions.
She also accused the streamer of calling her to boast about the platform he helped her build, threatening to take it away, and warning her that he was about to post damaging content about her online.
Recalling the incident, she said he told her that he was responsible for her popularity and could easily ruin it. After the post went live, Emmanuella said she felt confused and emotionally drained, questioning why she was being treated that way.
Although she admitted that Carter Efe was within his rights to state that they were no longer together, she described it as unfair and hurtful for him to take the issue to social media and make claims she believes damaged her character.
“I’m actually glad you’re the one coming out to say all these things about me, because this is the right time. This is all I needed to come out and speak my truth,” she added.
Her statement has since sparked widespread reactions online, with many social media users weighing in on the ongoing relationship saga between the two.
