Nollywood actress Kemi Afolabi Adesipe has appealed to the public for help in locating a long-lost friend, expressing deep concern for her safety and wellbeing.
The Yoruba film star made the appeal via her Instagram page, where she revealed that she has been searching for her former secondary school friend, Maria Stephen Seun. According to Afolabi, they both attended Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School (OLASS), Yaba, Lagos, as members of the 1998 graduating set.
Afolabi explained that recurring dreams about her friend prompted her renewed efforts to find her, stating that the dreams have left her anxious and eager to confirm that Maria is alive, healthy, and not facing any hardship.
She disclosed that they share a mutual friend named Ebun, although she could not recall Ebun’s surname. The actress also mentioned that she and Maria had previously communicated through social media, but contact was eventually lost, and she no longer remembers her friend’s online handle.
In her message, Kemi Afolabi urged anyone with information that could help trace Maria Stephen Seun to reach out through her comment section or direct messages. She emphasized that her only desire is to reconnect and ensure her former schoolmate is safe.
The heartfelt appeal has since drawn attention online, with fans and colleagues expressing support and encouraging the public to assist in reuniting the longtime friends.
