A close associate of late Afrobeats singer Destiny Boy has spoken publicly in an effort to curb growing speculation and misinformation surrounding the young artiste’s death.
In a video shared online, the associate revealed that Destiny Boy had been battling an illness prior to his passing and emphasized that significant efforts were made to manage his condition. He urged the public to refrain from spreading unverified claims about the circumstances of the singer’s death.
According to him, “I want to address this before people begin to spread false information about what caused Destiny Boy’s death. He had an illness he was managing, and everything possible was done. However, it was God’s will. May God watch over the child and the family he left behind. Death is inevitable for everyone, and our prayer should be to live long and purposeful lives.”
As of the time of this report, neither Destiny Boy’s family nor his management has released an official statement confirming the exact cause of death.
