Ghanaian politician and Member of the Ninth Parliament of the Fourth Republic, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has outlined his vision should he be elected President of Ghana.
Speaking with Kwame Tanko on Lawson Afisem, Dr. Adutwum revealed that he and his team are actively campaigning to garner support, aiming to become the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer in the upcoming general election.
The former Minister of Education emphasized that the NPP must present clear and actionable policies to earn the trust of Ghanaians and reclaim power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
On his presidential ambitions, Dr. Adutwum stated, “One of my top priorities is to reduce the nation’s death rate, which has reached a concerning level. I am committed to implementing measures that will save lives and, ultimately, protect Ghanaians.”
He further added that eradicating poverty is central to his agenda, ensuring that every citizen, including the ordinary Ghanaian, benefits fairly from the nation’s resources.
Dr. Adutwum’s campaign highlights a focus on healthcare, social equity, and sustainable development, aiming to address some of the most pressing challenges facing Ghana today.
