The Ghana Police Service has arrested three young men featured in a disturbing viral video in which they forcefully shaved the hair of two women.
The video, which circulated widely across social media last Monday, shows several men physically assaulting the women while using a blade to shave their heads. The graphic footage revealed the victims bleeding from multiple cuts inflicted during the attack. Despite the women’s cries and pleas for mercy, the men continued their actions.
After forcibly shaving their hair, the perpetrators attempted to shave the victims’ eyebrows, but the women strongly resisted.
The video sparked widespread outrage among Ghanaians, prompting calls for immediate police intervention. Authorities have since apprehended the men responsible.
