A viral video has sparked widespread discussion after a pastor, identified as Oloruntimilehin Daramola, advised members of his congregation to “get fortified” and take personal measures to protect themselves amid rising insecurity in the country.
During a church service, Daramola, who introduced himself as the Founder of *The Omnipotence Mission of God*, urged worshippers to adopt protective measures, insisting he had no supernatural power to shield them from potential attacks.

In the circulating clip, the pastor—dressed in a purple robe and cap and wearing a cross necklace—warned his congregation about the growing threat of armed violence. He encouraged them to pursue what he described as spiritual or practical fortification for their personal safety.
He further called on the Federal Government to permit broad-based gun ownership as a response to escalating insecurity.
The pastor also referenced Nigeria’s amalgamation, hinting that different regions could separate peacefully if the current national structure continued to face challenges. He later returned to his central message, emphasizing the need for his members to “get fortified” for their own protection.
