Popular Kumawood actor and YouTuber, Kwaku Manu, has ignited public debate with a candid statement about his approach to relationships and marriage. In a recent interview on De Godson TV, as reported by GhPage, the actor revealed that he would never consider marrying a woman without first being physically intimate with her.
Sharing insights from his past relationships, Manu explained that his views have been shaped by personal experience. He emphasized the importance of fully understanding a partner—including sexual compatibility—before entering into a lifelong commitment like marriage.
“There’s no way I’ll marry a woman I haven’t slept with. My experience has taught me valuable lessons,” he said. “I don’t want to end up cheating on my wife because I made the wrong choice.”
Manu further argued that many people only discover deep incompatibilities after marriage, which can lead to frustration or infidelity. For him, intimacy before marriage is a way to avoid such outcomes.
Despite advice to the contrary from his spiritual mentor, Prophetess Maa Vida, Kwaku Manu said he remains firm in his belief. While expressing respect for her guidance, he made it clear that his decision is based on his own life lessons.
“Even though Maa Vida advises me otherwise, I’ve made my decision based on my own experiences,” he added.
His remarks have sparked a wave of reactions online, with some supporting his honesty and others criticizing what they see as a controversial perspective on love, intimacy, and marriage.
