Radio and television personality, Blakk Rasta, has revealed that additional Ghanaian artistes may soon face legal action following Shatta Wale's recent detention by the Economic and Organized Crime Office (EOCO).
According to Blakk Rasta, EOCO is currently investigating multiple artistes allegedly involved in various criminal activities, including car theft and money laundering.
“This is just the beginning. Several artistes in Ghana are involved in criminal enterprises—purchasing stolen vehicles and other questionable items,” he stated in a recent interview. “Shatta Wale is not the only one. There are others whose operations clearly classify them more as criminals than artistes.”
Shatta Wale was reportedly detained over an investigation involving his yellow Lamborghini Urus, which authorities suspect is linked to ongoing criminal activity.
His public relations manager confirmed the artiste’s engagement with EOCO in a statement shared on social media, indicating that the management team will meet with the agency to assist in the investigation. The manager also called for calm among fans of the “Shatta Movement,” expressing confidence in the legal process.
This development has sparked significant public discourse, with many awaiting further revelations as EOCO continues its probe into alleged criminal conduct within Ghana’s entertainment industry.
