Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale has been released on bail after being arrested earlier this week in connection with an investigation into the ownership of a luxury Lamborghini.
The arrest occurred after the musician failed to provide the necessary documentation proving legal ownership of the vehicle, which he had previously showcased on social media. Authorities requested proof of purchase, but Shatta Wale was reportedly unable to produce a receipt, prompting further scrutiny and his subsequent detention.
Following his release, the artist’s Public Relations Officer, Sammy Flex, addressed the media with a brief but reassuring statement.
“I’m not here for a Q&A session but to provide a quick update,” he stated. “The good news is that Shatta Wale, who was arrested, has now been released. The bail conditions have been clarified as well.”
Sammy Flex also extended heartfelt thanks to all who offered support during the incident.
“To the media who reported on this, to the fans, the management team, friends, and all supporters of Shatta Wale — we say thank you. We’re truly grateful. God bless you for your unwavering support,” he said.
