Ghanaian MP and First Deputy Majority Whip, Comfort Doyoe, has renewed her advocacy for the government to acquire a new presidential aircraft, stating it's an essential investment—not a lavish one.
Speaking on Starr FM, Doyoe emphasized that a reliable, dedicated jet is a necessity for any serious government and should not be politicized.
“If we’re serious about governance, we must invest in a new—not secondhand—presidential jet,” she said. “This isn’t about politics. It's about national functionality and sovereignty.”
She urged all stakeholders to focus on the bigger picture: serving Ghana’s best interests.
“Let’s move past the partisan arguments. A functional presidential aircraft is critical infrastructure for a sovereign state,” she added.
