Wife of Deceased Man Found in Mistress's Room Breaks Silence

The wife of Emmanuel Somiah, the 36-year-old man who tragically died inside his mistress's room in Mpasatia, has spoken out for the first time following the devastating incident.

In an exclusive interview, the grieving widow expressed sorrow and frustration over her husband’s decision to engage in an extramarital affair. She described the other woman as “less attractive” and lamented that his choice to pursue this relationship ultimately cost him his life.

Visibly distressed, she raised concerns about the future of their three children, who are all currently in school, emphasizing the emotional and financial toll the incident has placed on their family.

Background of the Incident

The tragic event unfolded over the weekend in Mpasatia, a community in the Ashanti Region. According to reports, Emmanuel Somiah had rented an apartment for his mistress, where the fatal confrontation occurred.

On Saturday, August 23, 2025, Emmanuel was allegedly informed that another man, known only as Jeff, was at his mistress's residence. Acting on this tip-off, he visited the apartment and found Jeff with the woman.

A confrontation quickly escalated into a physical altercation. During the struggle, Emmanuel reportedly collapsed. Eyewitnesses stated that the woman involved appeared indifferent to the situation and, when urged to help, allegedly responded that she "doesn't care if her boyfriend dies."

Jeff fled the scene immediately after the incident. As of now, he remains at large, and local police have launched a manhunt to locate and arrest him.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Jeff’s whereabouts to come forward to assist with ongoing investigations.
