Ghanaian musician Patapaa, famed for his viral hit One Corner, has confidently stated that no one has ever tried to impersonate him—because, according to him, his style is simply impossible to replicate.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye, as reported by MyNewsGh.com, the vibrant performer highlighted his one-of-a-kind presence in the music industry.
“I’m a star. When you’re a leader and influencer like I am, there’s no such thing as a look-alike,” Patapaa said. “Even if someone physically resembles me, they can never speak or express themselves the way I do.”
He credited his distinctive personality and artistic expression to divine uniqueness, insisting that everything from his voice to his stagecraft sets him apart.
“God made me different. No matter how hard someone tries, they can never sound like me or perform like I do,” he declared.
Patapaa believes that the lack of any known impersonators is proof of how difficult it is to imitate his originality and energy.
“You can’t perform like me, and you can never be me. That’s why no look-alike of Patapaa exists—and none ever will,” he concluded.
