A Ghanaian woman named Ramatu made an emotional appearance on the "Lawson Afisem" radio show, claiming that former President John Dramani Mahama and his brother, prominent businessman Ibrahim Mahama, are her biological uncles.
According to Ramatu, who is believed to be in her 30s, she and her mother have been desperately trying to reconnect with the Mahama brothers but have had no success despite numerous attempts over the years.
Speaking during the live interview, Ramatu revealed that they had visited multiple locations including Ibrahim Mahama’s residence and business offices in both Tema and Accra, but tight security made it impossible for them to gain access or speak with anyone who could assist.
“All our efforts have been in vain,” Ramatu lamented. “Security guards at their residences and companies wouldn’t let us through. We've tried everything we can think of, and that’s why we’ve turned to this platform as our last resort.”
She added that appearing on "Lawson Afisem" was a final hope to get the attention of the Mahama family or anyone who might help her connect with them.
Her story has since stirred emotional reactions on social media, with many expressing support and calling for verification and possible reconciliation if her claims prove valid.
If you have any information that could help Ramatu reconnect with her alleged relatives, kindly contact the station or reach out via official communication channels.
