Tiger Eye PI Denies Bishop Obinim’s Allegations Against Anas Aremeyaw Anas

Tiger Eye PI, the renowned investigative firm, has vehemently rejected the recent allegations made by Bishop Daniel Obinim, leader of the International God’s Way Church, concerning journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. In a statement issued on March 21, 2025, the firm labeled Obinim’s claims as entirely false and misleading.

Obinim had alleged that Anas reached out to him in an attempt to convince him to join a lawsuit against politician Kennedy Agyapong. However, Tiger Eye PI was quick to set the record straight.

In its press release, the firm stated, "Tiger Eye PI categorically refutes these claims and urges the public to disregard them. These allegations are completely unfounded and, at best, a fabrication."

Tiger Eye PI further clarified that Anas, a seasoned investigative journalist and legal professional, has no need for Obinim’s involvement in any legal matters. "As an experienced lawyer, Anas Aremeyaw Anas is fully aware of the legal avenues available to him. He neither requires nor seeks the assistance of Bishop Obinim to pursue legal action when necessary. Additionally, Anas does not possess Mr. Obinim’s contact details or residential address, rendering any such interaction not only highly implausible but also impossible."

The statement concluded with a message of gratitude to the public, expressing appreciation for the steadfast support Anas has received from Ghanaians at home and abroad. "Tiger Eye PI values the unwavering support from the Ghanaian people, and Anas remains fully dedicated to his pursuit of justice and truth. He is grateful for the continued solidarity shown by the public."

In a motion filed by his legal team, Ofori-Atta argues that the OSP's actions violate the principles of administrative justice, specifically the right to a fair process and the protection of his personal dignity.
