ASEM ABA: Father of Late Nigerian Singer Mohbad Shares Dream About His Son

Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has opened up about a dream he had involving his son, offering a poignant glimpse into his emotional state months after the artist’s tragic passing.

In a recent statement, Aloba shared the dream, revealing, “I saw Mohbad in my dream; he was fine but didn’t say anything to me. He wasn’t crying; he was fine.” The vision brought a mix of sorrow and comfort as he recalled seeing his son in peace, despite the heartache of his loss.

Mohbad, born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, tragically passed away on September 12, 2023, under circumstances that have sparked widespread public scrutiny and led to ongoing legal battles. Investigations into his death uncovered that an auxiliary nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, had administered a questionable tetanus injection prior to his passing. She was arrested and is now facing charges of reckless and negligent acts in connection with the incident.

In addition to the medical concerns, several individuals—including Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Primeboy—were initially implicated in Mohbad’s death due to past conflicts and allegations of harassment. However, after a thorough investigation, a Lagos Magistrate Court cleared them of any involvement.

Following the court's ruling, Naira Marley expressed mixed emotions, saying, “I’m broken, not destroyed.” He also noted that, despite past disagreements, he and Mohbad had reconciled before the tragic event.

In a motion filed by his legal team, Ofori-Atta argues that the OSP's actions violate the principles of administrative justice, specifically the right to a fair process and the protection of his personal dignity. Additionally, Ofori-Atta seeks an interlocutory injunction to stop the OSP from issuing any further press releases or public statements that ...
